Progreso ISD "Work Study Recovery Program"

The district has implemented a program that enables students that for some reason or another dropout and didn’t graduate to come back to school and finish their education. A mix of district personnel makes up this team. District is utilizing the community liaison support group to make this effort possible along with help from counselors and administrators. In most cases these students need very little to complete the requirements needed for them to obtain their High School Diploma.

Superintendent, Dr. Fernando Castillo says” These students need our help to get them where they need to be”. The program will help break down some of the barriers that these students face.
